Terms of Sale – Acne Naturopath

Welcome to Acne Naturopath. By placing an order through our online store, you agree to the following Terms of Sale, which outline our policies on consultations, product purchases, corneotherapy skincare, refunds, shipping, and client responsibilities. Please read these terms carefully before making any purchase.
1. General
1.1. These Terms of Sale apply to all purchases made through the Acne Naturopath Shopify store.
1.2. By purchasing from our site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old or have the permission of a parent/guardian.
1.3. Acne Naturopath reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Sale at any time without notice.
2. Corneotherapy Skincare (Prologic) – Important Conditions
2.1. Prologic products are prescription-only, corneotherapy formulations designed to support restoration of the skin barrier and microbiome.
2.2. By purchasing Prologic products, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You have completed an Acne Naturopath Skin Consultation (online or in person), OR
- You have been assessed by an Acne Naturopath practitioner and provided with a personalised Prologic prescription.
2.3. Due to the highly active, therapeutic nature of Prologic skincare:
- Mixing ranges is not permitted. You must discontinue all current skincare products before beginning your Prologic prescription.
- You agree to follow the instructions provided by your Acne Naturopath practitioner.
- You understand that incorrect use may interfere with treatment outcomes.
2.4. Acne Naturopath reserves the right to refuse the sale of Prologic products if:
- You have not completed a consultation
- Your purchase does not align with your prescribed protocol
- We consider the products unsuitable or unsafe for you
3. Product Use & Safety
3.1. All products should be used only as directed.
3.2. You are responsible for informing your practitioner of:
- Allergies
- Medical conditions
- Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Current medications
- Prior adverse reactions to skincare or topical treatments
3.3. Acne Naturopath is not liable for reactions arising from undisclosed medical information, incorrect use, or failure to follow provided instructions.
4. Pricing & Payments
4.1. All prices are listed in AUD and are inclusive of GST (where applicable).
4.2. Pricing may change without notice.
4.3. Payment must be received in full before products are shipped.
4.4. We accept all payment methods supported by Shopify.
5. Shipping & Delivery
5.1. Orders are processed within 2–4 business days unless otherwise stated.
5.2. Shipping timeframes are estimates only and may vary due to postal delays.
5.3. Acne Naturopath is not responsible for:
- Lost or stolen parcels once marked as delivered
- Delays caused by couriers or external factors
- Incorrect addresses provided by the customer
5.4. If a parcel is returned to sender, re-delivery fees may apply.
6. Refunds, Returns & Exchanges
6.1. Due to the therapeutic, prescription-only nature of Prologic skincare and hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns, exchanges, or refunds for:
- Change of mind
- Incorrect selection
- Allergic reactions where full medical history was not provided
- Products that have been opened, used, or damaged after delivery
6.2. Refunds will only be offered:
- If a product is received damaged or faulty
- If a product is unavailable after purchase
- If required under Australian Consumer Law
6.3. If you believe you have received a defective item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@acne-naturopath.com with:
- Order number
- Photos of the product and packaging
- A description of the issue
7. Consultation Requirements
7.1. Some products require a consultation and personalised prescription.
7.2. By purchasing these products, you acknowledge that:
- Your prescription is unique to you
- It may change as your skin heals
- Your order may be amended or cancelled if it does not align with your current treatment plan
7.3. Practitioners reserve the right to request updated photos or information before approving skincare orders.
8. Cancellation Policy
8.1. Orders cannot be changed or cancelled once they have been processed.
8.2. If you need to update your address, you must contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee changes once an order has been dispatched.
9. Liability
9.1. Acne Naturopath is not responsible for:
- Reactions caused by incorrect use
- Failure to follow instructions
- Use of products not prescribed to you
- Mixing Prologic products with other skincare ranges
- Delays or disruptions caused by third-party providers
9.2. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights guaranteed under Australian Consumer Law.
